At the heart of Jaywalk Small Batch is a blend of 6,7 and 8 Year old Horton Heirloom Rye that has aged in medium charred virgin oak barrels.  

The smaller heirloom rye has a unique set of complex sugars the belies the notion that Rye = Spice. The Horton Rye is supported by other straight ryes to create a whisky equally at home neat or in a cocktail.

Lots of tropical notes - candied pineapple, dried mango and caramelised brown sugar on pineapple with sweet vanilla on the finish.

Flavour Profile

A honeyed nose with hints of ripe apricot and peach leads to underlying tropical notes on the palate, including floral sugars, caramelized mango, and pineapple. The interplay between sweet and spice makes for an ideal mixing rye whiskey.
